Black rapid have introduced RS DR-2 and RS-W1B camera straps. The first model, RS DR-2 camera strap is the slim version of DR-1 camera double strap; it is perfect for those who are looking for smaller system. Rock 2 DSLR cameras are similar to a gunslinger.
You can use it like as single R-Strap by removing half. The DR-2 is made of high quality, durable, ballistic nylon. It is available with 2 Fasten R-3 connectors. The DR-2 will fit perfectly for both women and men. The second model, RS-W1B is a Black Rapid’s opening to design a camera strap especially for women.
It is already available in the classic floral design; now the Black Rapid has introduced the RS-W1B that is made from the ballistic nylon. The RS-W1B is the first camera strap in the world that focuses for perfect fit on the female. RS-W1B provides durability, comfort, and speed.

This video shows the works of 23-year-old artist Alexa Meade, who has a way of making her paintings look very real.
What she does is paint the subjects that she photographs, which makes them look just like paintings in a two-dimensional photo. It really turns a person into a real work of art. She says that kids really get into this the most, having to almost explain to the parents.
Can’t wait to see more of what Alexa has to offer.

Thanksgiving: Weekly Photography Challenge

Many of our readers are, as they read this, recovering from one of their biggest holidays of the year – Thanksgiving.
While I know not all DPS readers are in the US I thought the theme of Thanksgiving was something we all could participate in as we do this week’s photography challenge. We did this last year also and it was a great theme.
The challenge is to photograph something that you’re thankful for OR to share a thanksgiving shot that you took over the last few days – and then to share the shot in comments below.
Use your imagination and feel free to interpret the theme as you’d like. You might like to take a picture of a person, object or do something symbolic to show what you’re thankful for. Anything goes – all we ask is that you keep your shots to a family friendly standard.
Once you’ve taken your photos – choose your best 1-2, upload them to your favourite photo sharing site either share a link to them even better – embed them in the comments using the our new tool to do so.
If you tag your photos on Flickr, Twitter or other sites with Tagging tag them as #DPSTHANKS to help others find them. Linking back to this page might also help others know what you’re doing so that they can share in the fun.
