Scanner used to create a Lego Mario

type="html">

I thought that those who like Lego would love this particular news item.

Some Lego and Mario fan set up a NextEngine 3D Laser Scanner on a tiny Mario figure, and this helped him set up a wireframe model so he could make a giant sized Lego Mario model.

You can check out my Source for more pictures, and someone seriously needs to make marketable software for this.

How to make your own TSA body scanner

type="html">

I think we all know about the controversy surrounding the TSA and their new body scanners that can supposedly see through clothes.

I thought you might appreciate how to make one of these things at home. It is very technical, but what do you expect? If you want to X-ray some of your friends from a distance, that could be a little bit of a problem. It apparently works very well up close.

Spoiler alert: If you were expecting some X-ray-ted body scans at the end, you are not in luck. What you get is some pretty bad jokes.
