Location: Davis, California
We moved into student housing for the price and location last year. Knowing we'll be here three years all together, we want this place to feel like home. Spending a lot of money on things we can't take with us is pointless and we're not allowed to make any major changes anyway. Enter dumpster diving, yard sales, freepiling, and "making do or doing without."
