The Lomo LC -A+ White

• Whirling White: the classic Lomo LC-A+ dressed in a white kimono of mint metal and smooth leather

Whirling White
Needless to say, with its 26 years, class and timeless features, the Lomo LC-A+ has become a real icon that deserves to be dressed in style. Therefore we cut ourselves off from all the fuss and found the perfect inspiration while meditating in a “Karesansui”, a traditional Japanese stone garden. The result is a whirling white kimono of elegant metal and smooth leather with wavy lines embossed that represent the ruminant patterns of the Japanese stone garden. The legendary Russian lens completes this beauty with inner values, whilst a specially designed box beds the Lomo LC-A+ White limited edition. To keep this beauty save, it comes with a special white edition of the L-Case.

Japanese grace
The wavy lines decorating the Lomo LC-A+ White and forming a “25” as a reminder of the 25th anniversary of the Lomo LC-A last year, look as if they were flowing straight out of a traditional Japanese stone garden, called “Karesansui”. Composed of stones and gravel without using water or plants, the “Karesansui” is characterised by graceful lines raked into the gravel, symbolising the endless flow of water. This metaphor is the perfect pattern to express the Lomo LC-A’s timeless style and creativity that will last for all eternity. Limited to 1000 pieces, the Lomo LC-A+ White is the most elegant and youngest member of the Lomo LC-A family that features such editions as the Lomo LC-A+ Gold, the Lomo LC-A+ Anniversary edition and the Lomo LC-A+ No Nukes edition.

25 Lomographic Years
Celebrating its 25th birthday with a big bang last year, the Lomo LC-A was the first member of an ever-growing circle of Lomographic cameras built for creative pleasure and spontaneous joy. In 1984 the production of this smart little camera started in a factory in Saint Petersburg during the times of the Soviet Union. Seven years later the Soviet Union was crumbling and the fate of the Lomo LC-A seemed sealed but a group of Viennese students rediscovered this little fellow while travelling through Prague and the Lomographic bug began to spread fast around the globe. For 25 years, the Lomo LC-A has been a reliable and robust travel companion and its resurfacing reaffirmed for thousands of Lomographers that the perfect tool for artistic, everyday life photography was here to stay. Over the years creative accessories like the Splitzer, the Wide Angle or the Tunnelvision lens, the
