SanDisk wins CES award for their smallest 64GB Solid State Drive

type="html">

SanDisk was on deck at CES Unveiled last night, and they were showing off their Design and Engineering Award for the World’s Smallest 64GB Solid State Drive.

It is smaller than a postage stamp and weighs less than a paper clip, so I am told. It also has the fastest high-capacity embedded storage device for this physical size, so says my Press Kit.

My Press Kit also says it is designed for high performance and reliability in tablet PCs and ultra thin notebooks, for the “next-generation mobile computing platforms”.

I’m sure that SanDisk will have much on display for CES 2011, but for now, this is what we have.
