How to shoot the moon with SLRs

Please try and not have a dirty mind when you look at the picture on the right.

Okay, now that I’ve got that out of my system. This is a way to take shots of the moon from the surface of the Earth. All you need is about five Canon 2x focal length extenders under a 800mm lens, and you have the view from an Apollo mission!
