Olympus E-PL2 gets some unusual lights

type="html">

Some of you might remember when we covered the Olympus E-PL2, and this one has one of the more unusual lighting methods.

As you can see, the camera has two metal arms that make it look like Doctor Octopus if he only had two arms instead of four.

In addition to these tentacle lights, Olympus is coming out with some specialized lights for macro photography. These would be powered by the hot shoe (the thing that powers the flash) and they will also have two arms as well.

I’m not certain whether or not these are the same arms that you see here. Either way, there is no word on a price or availability date.
