The Pentax Optio RZ10 Fails To Impress With Image Quality

type="html">

According to Engadget, Pentax’s Optio RZ10 looked pretty solid as a concept since its appearance at Photokina but a recent review from the Photography Blog revealed some serious flaws in this camera. While the reviewers seemed to be pleased with its handling, build quality and price, they were quite unimpressed with its image quality.

Furthermore, at ISO 200, problems such as considerable amounts of noise, “smearing of fine detail and loss of color saturation” and these flaws continue to get worse as you reach the maximum speed of 1600 for the ISO range. Interestingly enough, this Pentax camera is still considered to be well-priced at $200 despite its very significant drawbacks.
