Extreme: Weekly Photography Challenge

type="html">

This week your photography challenge is to take and share an image with the theme of ‘Extreme’.

The idea came from an email that I received this morning from a dPS reader living in the flood area of Queensland in my home country of Australia where there have been massive floods (the flood area is bigger than Germany and France combined).

The descriptions of the floods we’re seeing are ‘extreme’ as mother nature shows her force.

While we’re not all obviously able to witness such events I’m sure that a theme like ‘extreme’ will give us scope to photograph something whether it be an extreme weather condition, the extreme cuteness of a child, an extreme emotion, an extreme sport…. or anything else that you feel fits the theme.

Once you’ve taken your ‘Extreme’ photos – choose your best 1-2, upload them to your favourite photo sharing site either share a link to them even better – embed them in the comments using the our new tool to do so.

If you tag your photos on Flickr, Twitter or other sites with Tagging tag them as #DPSEXTREME to help others find them. Linking back to this page might also help others know what you’re doing so that they can share in the fun.

Also – don’t forget to check out some of the great shots posted in last weeks Seasons challenge – there were some great shots submitted.
